Thank you for thinking about hosting a fundraising event for SickKids! From BBQs to Garage Sales, Golf Tournaments to Galas, no event is too big or too small. The following information has been developed to assist you in determining what type of event you would like to host and to provide you with some tips on how to start organizing your event. The students in Class 73 at McKenzie-Smith Bennett Public School in Acton Ontario will be raising funds in their school and community to honour fellow students from our school who were or are currently patients at SickKids. This incredible group of Grade 7 students are dedicating their time and efforts to helping others in need. Any amount of money that we could raise would be one step further to helping out children who need it most.

The Sammy Cap The Sammy Cap is a durag-styled cap made of Lycra. These special caps where made as a tribute to a young teenage girl named Sammy, who without Courage, Hope and Strength, would never have battled acute myeloid leukemia. On the front of the headband is customed embroidered " Sammy Logo" that depicts Courage, Hope and Strength. These are the amazing qualities that Sammy and other children fighting cancer possess. Sammy Caps are available at vaious locations with part proceeds supporting Leukemia- Haematology / Oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children. Please contact Ave for more information.
