Funding research and fostering education for Ewing sarcoma.
It was the aspiration of The Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada to provide hope for those who are – and those who will be – affected by Ewing sarcoma.
The Pernica family founded The Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada in 2008, in memory of their son Reid. Their commitment was to fund Ewing sarcoma research and education in order to find new and better treatments, and ultimately, the cure for this form of cancer. In their 10 years in operation, The Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada organized an annual fundraiser in Toronto, Rally for the Cure, to raise money and awareness for Ewing sarcoma. Many individuals and community event organizers also contributed to their mission. Their support funded researchers in Canada and the creation and production of a documentary entitled, Make It Stop.
In November 2018, The Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada passed the torch to SickKids Foundation and created The Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada Endowment Fund to continue their mission. Please join us in funding the fight.
