Toronto Argonauts and SickKids Team Up!

SickKids is the official charitable partner of the 2007 Grey Cup



SickKids Foundation and the Toronto Argonauts have teamed up to form an alliance which will see the Argos donate $4 million to the foundation.

ArgosThis partnership is a strong part of the Argos' commitment to the Toronto community, and SickKids is thrilled to be chosen as the official charitable partner of the 2007 Grey Cup!

SickKids Foundation and the Argos are collaborating on a number of unique, community based initiatives.

Argos head into the playoffs!

Come down and cheer on the Toronto Argonauts as they host the East Final on Sunday, November 18 at Rogers Centre. The festivities begin with the bowmans.net MASSIVE tailgate party at 11 a.m., followed by the game which kicks off at 1:00 p.m.

A victory and the Argos will be in the 95th Grey Cup taking place on Sunday, November 25 at 6:00 p.m. at Rogers Centre.

Grey Cup 2007 : November 25

SickKids Foundation is the official charitable partner of the 2007 Grey Cup (the first Grey Cup game to be played in Toronto in 15 years) and there will be a number of initiatives leading up to the big game on November 25, 2008.  Members of the competing Grey Cup teams and other CFL players will visit The Hospital for Sick Children during Grey Cup week. 

Stay tuned to hear about other exciting events taking place during the Grey Cup festival that will benefit SickKids Foundation.

Big Men, Big Hearts

Big Men, Big HeartsFive of the largest Argos players have been named SickKids ambassadors this season including, Jonathan Brown, Chad Folk, Jeff Keeping, Jude St. John and rookie Brian Ramsay.

The “Big Men, Big Hearts” program, in conjunction with “Kids Believe in SickKids”, a program that reflects the importance of children supporting others, will be instrumental in motivating kids to get involved. 

The largest members of the Argos will help support some of the smallest members of the community through hospital visits, assistance with Foundation events, participation in the SickKids awards ceremony, school presentations and messages of inspiration.
