Scrubs in the City

It was another magical SickKids night, on the shores of the shimmering Aegean Sea as local philanthropists, corporate partners, fashionistas and more gathered at Evergreen Brickworks for Holt Renfrew presents Scrubs in the City Mykonos in collaboration with Mantella Corporation on June 1, 2023.

More than 1,600 guests dressed to the colourful nines to take in the infinitely azure waters, ethereal sea breezes and fabulous flavours of an island like no other. As the sun was setting on a beautiful Greek night, it was announced that $1.4 million was raised in support of a new neurosurgery navigation system at SickKids. This innovative system uses 3D technology to help surgeons quickly visualize the brain and spine, enabling them to perform the most delicate of surgeries even when there isn't the luxury of time.

Thank you to our incredibly generous volunteer committee, sponsors, donors, guests, and volunteers who joined us to make it a successful evening.

To date, Scrubs supporters have helped contribute over $9.8 million to various priority areas of the hospital.

Hats off 2 Kidz

We are thrilled to recognize and express our deepest gratitude to Hats off 2 Kidz for their incredible 18 years of generosity and support for the SickKids Foundation. As our donor of the week, we want to acknowledge their extraordinary efforts in raising over $2.3 million dollars to help provide the best possible care for sick children.

Hats off 2 Kidz dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and their families by supporting the groundbreaking research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care that SickKids Foundation provides. Their unwavering commitment to our mission has helped us to continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in pediatric health care, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Over the years, Co-Founders: Deborah Bianchi, Rose Rizzo, and Barbara Rizzo, loyal friends and family have organized countless fundraising events and initiatives, that have brought together thousands of supporters who share their passion for making a positive impact in the world. Through their hard work and dedication, they have not only raised critical funds for our organization but have also helped to raise awareness about the importance of supporting children's health.

Thanks to Hats off 2 Kidz and their incredible supporters, we are able to continue to provide the best possible care for sick children and their families. We are inspired by their commitment and their generosity, and we look forward to continuing to work together to create a brighter, healthier future for all children.
