Why an Endowment Fund?
An Endowment Fund is a charitable investment that is permanently invested to generate yearly income to support the lifesaving work that goes on at SickKids.
Requiring a minimum total contribution of $100,000 over five years, an Endowment Fund can be established to fulfill specific goals, like supporting a certain area of research, a particular Hospital program, the purchase of equipment, or the highest priority needs at SickKids.
An Endowment Fund can be in your own name or to honour a loved one. As part of your legacy, a named endowment is a deeply personal statement about who you are or the impact a loved one has had on your life, and what you believe should be supported into the future.
