The Women's Auxiliary Volunteers (WAV)
The Women’s Auxiliary Volunteers (WAV) at SickKids are a dedicated group of volunteers and passionate philanthropists. The mission of WAV is to provide an extra dimension of care to patient families through their volunteerism and support of clinical, research, and learning priorities of SickKids through their philanthropy. WAV has donated over $18M to SickKids priorities including the funding of five Chairs, funded the creation and ongoing operations of the bravery bead program, oversee operations of the PlayPark providing care for siblings in the hospital while families are at appointments, and running the successful SickKids VS Merchandise line through the 555 Shop, to name a few!
We are grateful to WAV for their decades of service and support to the hospital and the Foundation.
Lullaboo Nursery & Childcare Center
Lullaboo Nursery & Childcare Center knows the importance of safety and play for children – at home, at daycare, and at SickKids.
Since 2011, Lullaboo Nursery & Childcare Center has been an incredible partner, rallying their vast community of families across the GTA to raise funds for SickKids through their annual BBQ’s, PJ days, and other fun, creative campaigns.
Lullaboo deepened their commitment to children’s health by pledging to raise $1,000,000 for SickKids by 2027, and they are well on their way to reaching this goal! We are so grateful for the support of Lullaboo and its families!
