The Caribbean Children Foundation
The Caribbean Children Foundation (TCCF) has been a partner to the Herbie Fund at SickKids for 24 years. TCCF has contributed more than $500,000 to the Herbie Fund to help bring children from around the world to SickKids to receive life-saving and life-changing surgery not available in their home countries.
TCCF’s mandate is to enable financially disadvantaged and critically ill Caribbean children get the specialized medical care they need, as quickly as possible. Their vision is to remove all barriers, especially financial, between a critically ill child and access to proper medical treatment and care. Through their annual fundraising campaign and Anniversary Angel Gala TCCF has ensured the hospital has the funds available to make the difference in a life of a child and their family through the Herbie Fund. We are grateful for TCCF’s quarter century of support.
Spirit Halloween
To help children and their families cope during illness or a hospital procedure, Spirit of Children brings the magic of Halloween and more to local hospitals all year long by providing essential funding to over 150 hospitals across the United States and Canada. Since 2011 Spirit Halloween Stores in Toronto and across the GTA have raised over $1.6M for SickKids! Every penny of each donation supports the critical work of our Child Life Department to support children and their families while they receive care.
