Our thanks goes to Definity as our Donor of the Week. Definity is living its purpose to help build resilient communities but supporting our Child Life team – the specialists who help our patients be resilient by provide uplifting experiences and emotional support at a time when they need it most.

Friends Helping SickKids
A huge thank you to the Damiano family and all their friends, family, and community who have been hosting the Friends Helping SickKids Saturday Night Fever Disco Event for the past 24 years. Frank and Martina Damiano founded this event in honour of their son Antonio. It was their way of showing appreciation and thanks to the medical team and staff at SickKids who saved their sons life. Antonio was treated at SickKids for childhood leukemia.
The goal of this community event is to continue to raise funds and awareness for leukemia and research at SickKids – Frank and Martina have continued this event to help improve the lives of children diagnosed with leukemia, and to improve survival outcomes and ensure that children and their families receive the highest quality of care.
We are humbled and grateful for the support of the Damiano’s, their committee of volunteers, family and friends for generating over $1.7 million for leukemia research at SickKids!
