ABOUT OUR PATIENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Our Patient Ambassador Program provides volunteer opportunities for past and present SickKids patients to support our cause and help us Heal the Future. Our Patient Ambassadors are individuals and families who choose to share their SickKids story to help us raise awareness and funds for The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Affiliated with SickKids Foundation, our program provides a substantial way for patients and families to give back and support the SickKids cause: Healthier Children. A Better World.Join our Ambassador Program and share your SickKids story. Your personal stories help inspire, motivate, and encourage others to support SickKids. It’s the most valuable donation you could make to help us Heal the Future.

We are always interested in connecting with enthusiastic patients and families who want to volunteer and share their SickKids stories. If you're a SickKids patient or family and you're interested in applying to our program, here's how to apply:
- Share Your Story, (be sure to include your Name, Address, Email, Phone Number, Relationship to SickKids and your story) .
- A member of our Patient Ambassador team will contact you to arrange your video meet & greet.
- Attend your video meet & greet to learn more about our program and decide if this is the right opportunity for your family, and then we will collect your SickKids story.
- Your Patient Ambassador Profile will be written, then shared with you and the main staff member involved in your SickKids story to ensure accuracy. (Your Patient Ambassador Profile is only for our communication team's internal use).
Upon joining our program, you'll be added to our mailing list where you'll receive our quarterly newsletters, updates, and invitations to exclusive SickKids friends and family events. There is no fee to join our program.
When a relevant fundraising opportunity arises, we will reach out to you to see if you're interested in participating. If an opportunity is not of interest to you, there is no pressure to participate.
The nature of opportunities that arise cannot be predicted. Opportunities are unpaid volunteer positions. Community Service hours for high school students can be provided, upon request.
